Zip Line across Sabarmati River opens for public

Presented here is video of just opened Zip line river crossing ride at Sabarmati river front just behind NID in Paldi area. Ticket rate for two-way ride is Rs. 300 for individual on weekdays and Rs. 400 on weekends. Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has handed over this project to private party. Crossing is not motorized. It is based on slope. Safety parameters seem good. Fire Brigade has already given safety certificate after thorough load and stability checks. On its opening day the ride was free.
