Mark 16:17, “These signs will follow those who believe. In My Name they shall cast out demons…” Deliverance is a sign that should follow all believers. However, I do not recommend that you go around commanding out demons. You need to first educate yourself on the subject, read a few books on deliverance, watch a deliverance, pray, fast, follow someone who has done it for a while, and then proceed. You must remember you are dealing with the spiritual world, so it is not something to be taken lightly. There are a few reason that could contribute to this priest inability to perform deliverance. One being he did not pray and fast. There is a certain type of demon that will only come out through praying and fasting. Maybe he did not pray and fast. (Matthew 17 :14-21) Another reason could be that he did not believe in the power of God. In other words his faith faltered and he believed the words of the demon rather than the words of God. One last reason could be because the man is not a true believer. The priest could very well be a wolf is sheep’s clothing. If that is the case. He would not be able to perform deliverance. There are more reasons, but for now we’ll focus on the top three.
