Most of us have encountered a pesky passenger while on a plane.
Recently eyewitnesses on a plane departing from Iceland photographed a male passenger who had downed a large bottle of alcohol.
The man reportedly began choking, grabbing and spitting on other travelers so he was retrained. He is pictured tightly taped to his seat with another piece of tape residing over his mouth. His legs are zip tied together.
Although the makeshift restraints are controversial, the man was officially arrested after the plane landed.
In a similar report from 2008, a 45-year-old woman from New York was arrested after slapping a plane official on the back side and pulling the hair of a blind passenger.
Crew members were forced to duct tape her to the seat until the plane landed.
In 2011, a United Airlines male passenger had to be bound by flight officials. Authorities became concerned during the flight, when the man had spent 30 minutes in the bathroom and refused to come out.
When he opened the door, he began yelling at the plane crew, causing officials to duct tape his mouth shut and limbs together.
