[+] Crosstalk or Xiangsheng is a traditional Chinese comedic performance. It usually takes the form of a dialogue between two performers, although, at times, it can be in the form of a solo monologue.
Over the years, the format has begun to gain popularity in the West too, with international performers coming to China. For some, it offers an opportunity to learn the language. For others, the format provides an insight into Chinese culture and sense of humor.
